The plight of low income students is too often attributed to either lazy students, or lazy education and social professionals. If this (mis)perception persists, then we aim to redefine lazy itself to match the groups it often defines.
We ask you to join us in being part of the solution, and take a slightly more lazy approach to spreading negative stereotypes.
There are plenty of non-profit's that support great causes and do great work. We are not one of them. We are a business. A for profit business. But at Lazy, the bottom line is not captured in a column in a spreadsheet. We believe strongly that businesses exist not simply to create customers but to fill unmet needs. The only way society can truly look to solve its most pressing social needs are to understand its unique challenges. The bottom line at Lazy is measured by how well we fill these gaps and how sustainable our solutions are for our customers.
Most people are lazy at there jobs, at least in the IT field. They spend most of their time procrastinating and taking shortcuts while their focus is elsewhere. It is hard to be 'there' 100% of the time when you are simply not into it. At Lazy, we are passionate about the projects we take because not only does it make for a more interesting workday, it also makes a more productive one as well.
